Buddy King Recognized
by Arkansas Press Association
Buddy King (left), a past president of APA, stepped in to fill a vacancy
in the executive committee, thereby becoming (by all accounts) the longest-serving member of the
board. To thank him for his service and years of service to the Association, current President Roy Ockert
Jr., presented him with a needlepoint representation of the former Arkansas State University mascot created
by Pat Ockert.
