New General Manager Announced for The Sentinel-Record
Gary Troutman, a third-generation Hot Springs native, was named the new general manager of The Sentinel-Record on Thursday by Walter E. Hussman Jr., chief executive and publisher of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and president of WEHCO Media Inc.
Troutman, the Democrat-Gazette's classified advertising director, succeeds Nat Lea. Lea was recently named vice president and general manager of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Inc.
"I've been a fan and reader of this newspaper for basically my entire life," Troutman, a 1982 graduate of the Lakeside School District, said Thursday.
"This fulfills a lifelong dream to be leading this team in my hometown. I love this community."
